Why do i need a PT?
Hiring a good Personal Trainer is the safest, fastest and most effective way to get the results you are looking for. Exercise and nutrition are complicated variables that need expert navigation. With me you will learn how to perform strength training exercises properly, with good form, making sure you stay safe and get the maximum benefit from the exercise performed. I will help you manipulate your programming to make sure you consistently see results and don't hit plateaus.
Why should I pick you as my PT?
I have been involved in this industry for over 7 years. Fitness has been my passion for a long time and it is my hope to pass that passion onto you. What sets me apart from other PTs is my desire to learn. I spend huge amounts of time learning as much as I can about exercise programming, nutrition and more. I am always on top of the latest research making sure I'm providing the best information possible. I have learnt first hand from some of the industries greatest minds; Joe De Franco, Jim Smith and Dr Jordan Shallow to name a few. My hope for my clients is that once we stop working together you will have the tools to continue your journey without the need for a trainer ever again. My style aims for long term success over short term results that can't be maintained.
What kind of goals can you help with?
I have worked with clients on all kinds of goals. The vast majority of people I work with are seeking body transformations. Whether your goal is to build muscle or burn body fat I have you covered. I'm also very experienced working with clients on corrective exercise, pain management, injury rehab and athletic performance training.
What about Nutrition?
I take a 360 degree approach with my clients. This means I consider everything that goes on outside of the gym which includes but is not limited to nutrition. I also work with clients on their sleep patterns, stress management and increasing activity levels outside of the gym. In terms of nutrition I'm not married to any one approach. It's all about finding what works for your situation and your lifestyle. That could mean we put you on a meal plan, that could mean we work with you on changing your habits over time. My approach to nutrition is taken on a completely individual basis.
What is included with personal Training?
Personal Training consists of 60-minute sessions where I will teach you how to maximize your results in the gym. In addition to your sessions, you will receive a fully personalized program (if appropriate) to complete on your own outside of our time together. You will also receive nutrition coaching as part of the package.
How much experience is required?
I train people with all different levels of experience from advanced competitors to brand new beginners. If you are new to the gym and apprehensive about getting started, you have absolutely nothing to worry about! We will start you at a level that is appropriate to your current fitness levels. If you have experience I can give you the tools to take your training to the next level. Refine your form on your major lifts, work on deficiencies that may have crept in from years of poor programming and plug the holes in your programming to maximise your results.

Personal training is based out of 613 Lift, 80 Jamie Avenue, Nepean. If you are not in Ottawa remote coaching is available, please contact for details.

Let's do it! First step is to book you in for your free assessment. In this assessment we will have a chat about what your training goals are, find out more about your lifestyle and do some physical mobility and movement assessments. The assessments are not physically demanding but you will be required to move a little bit so wear gym clothes.
